A journey through the dark night of the soul…

Alexandra had been seeking truth the whole of her life, believing that if the right path could be found and followed, it would inevitably lead to the road of higher consciousness. Her faith was strong, having experienced many significant phases throughout her life, which was perhaps the very cause of her purposeful intent and deep yearning; to reach that place she believed existed within each and every one of us.

 She’d reached a point, however, where her faith had begun to waver, second-guessing and self doubt were no longer occasional occurrences, but were becoming the norm. It was then, as if by some strange cosmic coincidence, that her path crossed with Griffin Skylar, and a lengthy and profound absence of light and hope began to ensue. 

He lifted her to the pinnacle of euphoria, with his intellectual ideals and fantastical notions, and it seemed to Alexandra that she had at last found her Sage. But Griffin Skylar was not at all what he appeared to be, and before she realized what was happening, her world began spiraling out of control; as she found herself caught between her old way of life and the endless new possibilities of which he urged.

She became immersed in what is known to some as the Dark Night of the Soul; not knowing what was happening, but feeling her self separate on all levels; mentally, physically and spiritually, from God, as well as man.
